On Friday, August 27th, 2021, the opening of the exhibition Pain Pride Pose - about queerness, discrimination & empowerment took place at the VHS at Neumarkt in Cologne.
Before the vernissage, a press tour was offered with the artist Nora Hase, the project team, and some of the portrayed people. The first visitors of the exhibition were warmly welcomed with a Vogue performance by the BIPOC collectives DEMASK (?) and greetings from the mayor Andreas Wolter.
Pain Pride Pose - the empowerment project by baraka - a place for international queers and the Queer Antidiscrimination Office ADB rubicon was opened during Cologne Pride 2021 and exhibited at the VHS am Neumarkt from August 27th to October 8th.
